MusicSage is a new music search engine that launched last month that attempts to differentiate itself by presenting meaningful sentences of content instead of chunks of info.
I tried it out — it’s not bad considering it’s only been up for a month, but I feel they need to structure the results better. The most common searches will usually be fore band names, song titles, and album titles…so, for example, a search for a band name should present discography, official website, and concert schedule info in a consistent fashion. (Google music search does this somewhat — screenshot here.) Otherwise, the info presented is kind of interesting, resembling a collection of trivia facts, despite looking a tad random.
Give it shot.
