Jupiter Recommends MySpace For Music Promotion


Ok folks, it’s official as of May 29, 2006: Recommendations from friends are one of the most powerful ways people discover music (only below radio and music videos), according to a new Jupiter study, Music and Community: Low-Cost, Authentic Promotion.

So go out there and familiarize yourself with MySpace, Digg, Technorati, TagWorld, Blogger, etc etc.

By the way, does anyone else think the author of the report, David Card, looks like David Brent from The Office?

He TOTALLY looks like David from The office! I LOVE that show, btw. That is one of the best tv shows ever. Funny and touching and cringe-worthy. Just hilarious.
